In June 2014, Vertu launched their 3rd smartphone in 18 months – the top of the range Signature Touch. To support the launch, mediamark broadcast set up live TV interviews with CNN International and CNBC Europe for CEO Max Pogliani. In addition, video content was produced and made available for TV and online journalists in the key markets of France, Russia, UK, China and Italy. Overall, 25 broadcast and online hits worldwide were achieved, reaching a cumulative audience of over 450 million. This broadcast work was part of the wider launch campaign which resulted in a 40% increase in lead generation for the new phone compared to the previous model launch.
