Mark Jones Director
Mark has over 16 years of broadcast and digital PR experience after spending 10 years at Ogilvy PR (Broadcast division) and Bulletin International, a leading independent broadcast PR consultancy.
At Ogilvy and Bulletin, Mark directed, produced and placed broadcast quality content used by TV journalists and digital media worldwide. He advised clients including Motorola, Rolls-Royce, Philips, Nissan and Nike on developing broadcast campaigns and crafting story angles to convey key messages in ways that work for TV, radio and digital media. He has a wide range of international broadcast contacts and works with clients, leading cameramen, news crews, journalists and directors in a variety of situations around the globe.
Prior to Ogilvy, Mark’s roles included Media Relations Executive, Production Manager and Head of Production. He has gained a tremendous amount of experience in all elements of TV and digital media production from acquisition of equipment through content creation to global distribution.
He speaks German and French fluently having studied and lived in both countries and has a diploma in journalism from the London School of Journalism.
Since setting up mediamark broadcast, Mark has worked on a number of campaigns across all sectors particularly business, technology, automotive and sport. Projects have included the launch of the first Vertu smartphone, two Rolls-Royce Motor Cars models at the Geneva Motor Show, the editorial broadcast promotion of FIFA’s Football Hidden Story initiative and raising awareness of the Red Bull Air Race.
Mark also has a BSc in International Business and Modern Languages from Aston University, Birmingham. He is a passionate Chelsea FC fan and enjoys cinema.
